Hello - I crated a Web Map with editable feature layers. I want to create forms for users to create new or edit existing features.  I organized my fields in the form and when finished, Map View freezes and won't let me save, cancel, or even exit using the X at the upper right of the form page.  What is going on?

Thank you!

No, you should be able to work in both interchangeably.

I first noticed this issue yesterday. When I configure a Form in a web map and click ok and it will freeze. I use Chrome.

To get it to work again "temporarily," I will refresh the page and start the Form over again, instead of doing the whole form all over again. I add one tiny thing, click ok, save the map, and then I can get back into Forms and make the rest of my edits.

Certain menus in Dashboards are reacting similarly, specifically if you go into map settings and toggle map actions, it will freeze.

Yes! This is exactly what is happening to me. Map Viewer form freezes. I can’t save, cancel, or exit. I end up having to close out the web map.

Try doing this in an Incognito browser window. I don't have access to that in Chrome, but I could save the form in a private window in Firefox.

Hi all,

Are you using any browser extensions? If you are using any extensions, would you turn them off and try creating / editing a form again? That might solve the problem.

I have the React Developer Tools extension installed on Firefox and Chrome. When I disable that extension, I can save the form in both browsers.

Hi @KenBuja

Thanks for testing it! I've heard that some extensions don't play well with the form builder.

Thank you, removing the React Developer Tools extension on Chrome solved the problem. My forms are no longer frozen!  Thank you!!!!!
