Instant App - Attachment Viewer - Unable to browse other points while an individual point is selected

Hey this has been something I've seen since first getting into ArcGIS.

I have a map tied to an Instant App, the Attachment Viewer app. When you select an individual point on the map, it gives you the sidebar with the related information, a photo, notes, etc.

This is great. The issue, though, is that when you have selected a point and then want to browse the rest of the map, additional points outside your initial frame of reference until you close out of that original point.

For reference, with my map here (this is related to the September 11 attacks and imagery, so viewer discretion advised): https://www.arcgis.com/apps/instant/attachmentviewer/index.html?appid=1b7d4d22866b445881b181614e25d4...

If say I selected this point right here:

Everything looks great and as expected. However, if I zoom out or move anywhere else on the map, a user will see this:

As you can see, only points within that original viewing area that were visible when initially clicking the point are visible.

If I click the back arrow on the selected point in order to close it, the view updates to show the expected points on the map.

I've had a number of people reach out to me regarding this and I'm curious if this is something done by design and if there's a way to disable this (or not), or if this is a bug.

It's not the end of the world, but it's just one more thing I have to include in instructions, haha.
