Hello,
I am trying to load up a tile package into ArcGIS Online and convert that into a Map Service to be used a basemap.
In Desktop, the projection system is WGS_1984_Antarctic_Polar_Stereographic, when I then create a tile package, and load those tiles into ArcGIS Online, the resulting Map Service appears to be in Web Mercator, even when I use it as a basemap. Is this expected? When transforming from a tile package to a map service, does arcgis online reproject the service to Web Mercator?
