I am using 9.3.1 and am in a dilemma. I have a two files, one raster and one vector. The Raster file is symbolized into 5 classes of values 1-5 using the natural breaks (jenks) classification. The Vector file also contains 4 classes 1,2,4, & 5. I would like to overlay the two files and determine how much area (acreage) vector classes 4 & 5 represent within the Raster Classes of 1 & 2. Ie.....For Raster Class #1, I need the acreage that Vector Class 4 represents and acreage that Vector Class 5 represents, both individually. I need the same for Raster Class #2. If someone could please help me solve this dilemma I would greatly appreciate it.
