Problem with Base Maps?

Hello,
I have 2 questions please:

1- I want to change the Base Maps like it's in ArcGIS desktop (Topographic, satellite,...) on arcgis online, but I have just a topographic map.
Is this normal or just  because I am In trial version?

2- How to import SHP files in ArcGIS ONLINE?

1. This sounds like an error - I think you should have access to multiple basemaps even in a trail situation. Maybe you can search for basemaps as a workaround.
