Hi All,

Is there flexibility in place for shift workers (think FIFO, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, etc. type scenarios) with respect to ArcGIS Online User ID's? Providing ID's for all field workers when they only work 2 weeks out of every month is hard to swallow.

Disabling an ID still counts towards your total members. You could delete and re-add members. Both of these methods sound potentially painful.

Is there an Esri option or does anyone have any tips on managing this?

Thanks, Jamie.

Hi Jamie Lambert‌,

Unfortunately ArcGIS Online only supports disabling a member currently, as opposed to being active or deleted, which does still hold the User Type. There is however an Enhancement request for this functionality ENH-

000131272: Provide option to disable member in ArcGIS Online that makes their license become available again without having to delete the member.

Logging a support case to have your account tied to the enhancement is a good way to have it gain visibility and your use case. It may also be helpful to log your request and use case as a GeoNet idea.

Hope this helps!
