Ok, I previously had ArcGIS Monitor 2023.3.0 installed and working, with the exception of it loosing connection every few days and having to manually run the database maintenance process.  In order to resolve this, I decided to install the update to 2023.3.1 as advised on the ESRI Community forum.

At first, after running the upgrade, it didn't seem like it was connecting to the database.  So, after trying a few things I decided to unregister the components and reregister them again.  When that didn't seem to work, I opted to uninstall the software and start over.

This time around I have it installed, but I am having issues registering some components that were previously registered using the 2023.3.0 version.  I can register the Portal server and the main GIS server, but so far nothing else...

When I try to register a new component, I get the following error message:

***
An error occurred running the observer
New-CimSession : WinRM cannot process the request. The following error with errorcode 0x80090311 occurred while using
***

I have deleted usereports that were purely numeric and have gone and listed the Monitor server on the server I am trying to connect to as a trusted host using Powershell.

Any advice?  Did I go from one bug to another?

I think I figured it out Josh.

I needed to add my "domain\" before my username.

Hello @ghaskett_aaic,

A couple clarifying question:

  • Are you using the fully qualified domain name or the IP to register the hosts?
  • Are you using a domain or local user to register the hosts? Or are you using the "Inherit credentials" option in ArcGIS Monitor?
