Hi,

I am planning to upgrade the Monitor 2024 to 2025.0.1 soon.

Keen to know if anyone successfully upgraded to 2025.0.1?

Sorry to ask as I had to roll back the 2025 upgrade due the bug BUG-000177693 for ArcGIS Monitor

I understand this has been resolved with 2025.0.1. Still want to double check with 2025.0.1 upgrade outcome.

Kind regards,

Antony

I had issues with the database upgrading from having too large of a database over 9 billion rows. ESRI tech support had me delete all the data for the upgrade to complete.

Hi,

Before upgrade you need change config file .env in default path C:\Users\[serviceuser]\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISMonitor\config-store-server

Set DB_QUERY_TIMEOUT=180

Big size database need more time to upgrade.

Thanks for that tip, the problem wasn't a time out though. It consumed all the RAM and over 150 GB of drive space for query "ALTER COLUMN id TYPE BIGINT". ESRI support had me fix this bug wrong the first time so that could have been the issue too.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for that.

Just checking, I should be doing this workaround before upgrade process to 2025.0.1?

or 2025.0.1 upgrade process taken care of this step?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Regards,

Antony

Make sure the service account has permissions to modify the license file. It’s best to manually create the C:\Program Files\ESRI\License25.0 folder and assign the permissions, because previous versions of AGM stored the license in C:\Program Files (x86)\ESRI\License11.0

I recently spent some time authorizing licenses.

Upgraded ArcGIS monitor successfully to 2025.0.1

Testing new functionalities:

ArcGIS online monitoring - failed getting an error - Invalid organization ID: undefined

Any insights on this issue? I have escalated with ESRI support.

Antony
