Creating Favorites For My Organization

Hello-

I am currently creating an ArcGIS Pro Template for my organization to use. Our goal is to "link" Living Atlas Layers that the majority of our users will likely use when using APRO.

I understand that I could favor a Living Atlas Layer and it will show up in my catalog under favorites BUT we want to have those favorites pre-set for users in our organization to ensure we are being consistent with the data that is being used.

Is there any way to link multiple Living Atlas layers in a folder? Having all of the layers in the map contents is not our goal for creating the template, as it tends to run slower.

Any suggestions are helpful!

Once you sign in at the Living Atlas website, you can go to the Browse tab to find content you are interested in. Since you are signed in, you can favorite items or even directly share them into a group that you own.

Once you sign in this should work for any and all Living Atlas content. If there is something you are stuck on, you can send me an email at bszukalski@esri.com

This blog article may be useful, I overlooked mentioning sharing to groups but will add that.

This blog article is about basemaps, but does detail the sharing into groups workflow.

Favorites are user by user. After you sign in at the Living Atlas website you can favorite things (essentially bookmarking them for easier access) you think are of interest to your organization.

To make them more broadly available to everyone in your organization in Pro, I would suggest creating a group and sharing those favorited items into the group where members can find them. In Pro, they would just look for that group to add whatever layers you've shared there to their Pro project.

So grateful for your response. I am currently working through creating a group and sharing the favorited content with the group.

I am running into one issue with this: I am unable to share an ESRI-owned living atlas layer with the group because of the sharing permissions.

I could be doing this wrong... Do you have any insight? Maybe a screenshot?

Thank you so much in advance this will be a game-changer!
