When will the Editor Widget (4.X) support Related Table Editing

I am creating a data editing application and I want to use the 4.23 API. However, the editor widget is limited and does not support related table editing.

Is there a plan for this to change in an upcoming release? If not, I will lower my expectations and use the 3.X API.
