I have a project, which is basically an html page with a MapView with some layers in it, in Javascript. I work with a laptop monitor and an external monitor. When I zoom in to the minScale of one of the polyline layers, it shows on monitors (laptop and external) if their Display Settings have scales set to higher than 100% (125% and 150%), but if I move the (MS Edge) window to another monitor, with scale set to 100% the layer magically disappears. How can this be?
Hey Infrabellnfrabel,
Could you try testing this with v4.29 of the JavaScript API? I believe you are seeing BUG-000163970.
Hope that helps,
David
Hi David,
I tested this with version 4.29.4 of the Javascript API, and the result stays the same. The polyline only shows on monitors with a scale higher than 100%. I tested it about 10 times (going back and forth between a monitor at 150% and a monitor at 100%) and only once, with a very small browser window, not touching the edges of the screen, did the layer remain visible. So it seems that the issue isn't solved yet. Can you take a further look at it? I'd be happy to supply more details about the polyline layer if you need them.
Best regards,
Peter
Hey Peter,
Thank you for trying. The bug was logged at version 4.28 so I was hoping it may have been resolved at 4.29. In this case it unfortunately is not something that can be worked passed until the issue is fixed at the SDK level.
Many thanks,
David
