Legend not rendering polygons correctly in card style

Hey,  I'm facing trouble with the legend when using Card Style .

Any polygon layers with a simple fill symbol do not render the same as they do with the classic style legend. Card style just shows a single block, only the colour updates the fill type of the symbol isn't represented at all.

Does anyone know any workaround for this other than using the class style for the legend?

Also I'd like to report this bug to Esri but have not been able to find out how.

This looks like a bug.  I can repro in this codepen

You can submit a bugs by contacting technical support.  Some instructions can be found here.  I'll create an internal issue but by submitting a bug you can keep track of its status.
