I am having trouble accessing the JavaScript API URL today.
The request frequently fails with the following error message:
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
We are having the same problem. All of our apps are down right now!

serverapi.arcgisonline.com was temporarily experiencing heavy load.  everything is back up now.  sorry for the inconvenience!

It was working for me briefly, but now I'm getting the error, "The service is unavailable."

Thanks.

Could it be that cbsnews.com has a storm tracker map of the Hurricane on their website that uses the ArcGIS JavaScript API?  I bet the server is getting hammered with requests with everyone looking at the Hurricane track.

Thanks for looking into it.

Is the JSAPI included in the status report that is listed on status.arcgis.com?  Does not seem so.  Please, Please, Please provide a status update page similar to https://status.heroku.com/ and use Twitter to alert developers of issue.  Thank you!

Cheers,
Blair

Our primary application used for sales demos is currently down -- since the JSAPI won't load.

Specifically, for us, this is the url in question: https://serverapi.arcgisonline.com/jsapi/arcgis/?v=2.4

The status website seems to indicate "Performance Issues" with the JSAPI, but we're experiencing downtime right now.

Any update on the cause or ETA for a fix?

Thanks!

UPDATE: 2:30 MDT -- I'm currently able to load the API URL shown above. We'll see if it stays up.
