I'm experiencing severe performance issues in IE with the "snap to grid" option in the measurement tool. While v2.5 is an improvement (slightly) over v2.4, the drawing performance lag between moving the mouse, and drawing the '+' and line on the screen is at least 3-5 seconds at best, and sometimes significantly worse. I've seen instances where I needed to hold the mouse still for 10 seconds prior and 5 seconds after clicking to set a point in order to get the 'snap to grid' point on the right place.
Since this is completely within the API code, I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to speed up performance of this tool? This is a very useful function, but as it stands it's worse than useless: it's frustrating and will cause a lot of grief to my users.
I'm using IE 9, though the problem seems to exist in IE 7 and 8 as well; I have a single map layer and feature layer visible during drawing (other layers have been 'turned off').
