I am trying to collect this information for a potential enhancement of Geonet so please answer these questions.
1. How often do you log questions on Geonet on monthly basis?

2. If you are on maintenance how often do you contact esri technical support for unanswered questions on Geonet?

3. How many days you would like to wait before contacting technical support?
4. If you rarely contact technical support for unanswered questions on Geonet, any particular reason?
5. Would you like esri technical support staff contact you for your unanswered questions?
1. I have never asked, only answered so far, not so say that I wouldn't.
2. I contact Tech Support as seldom as I can. 3-4 times per year.
3. I hate waiting I am on to the next thing before I know it, waiting too long is a definite damper to progress.
4. Haven't asked questions yet on GeoNet, but I will ask colleagues across the industry who are not on GeoNet, or who do not check GeoNet often for answers or council on issues.
5. Yes, if a question lingers too long, it would be a nice touch to receive a follow-up.

4. I do contact technical support if the question is unanswered and did not find workaround. However, many times I have got fast and accurate response on Geonet than the support team. Prefer posting issue on geonet first if I feel that the developer would have better input OR questions are related to design where support team cannot give input.

1-3 days, depending upon how important the issue is.

Hard to say. For issues that are critical, I usually call Tech Support fairly soon. For less critical issues I may opt for a work-around. Also, there are some questions I post on GeoNet in an attempt to glean other users advice on an issue, as they may have a different perspective/workaround than Tech Support.

4. It depends if it is something that I feel that Esri should support as opposed to a user created widget. I usually get pretty good feedback on geonet; If I HAVE TO have something resolved and my question is not answered I will contact support.
5. Yes, but not immediately. I prefer the community to have a chance at answering my question. Five days of inactivity is an amount of time that I would like to hear feedback from tech support.

I don't use Geonet on a monthly basis or haven't since this course so I would say 4 just based on this course.

I only did that once.

I only waited a few hours and my issue was taken care of.

Most questions get answered pretty quickly.

No. That's not necessary. Everything has already been answered.
