Customize coordinate axis labels in SketchTooltipOptions (X/Y vs X/T)

We are using the Sketch widget with SketchTooltipOptions ( SDK version 4.31) and noticed that form some spatial references the coordinate tooltip labels are displayed as “X / T” (and in some spatial references the order may also be reversed). For many users—especially those without strong GIS backgrounds—this is confusing, as they expect standard “X / Y”  labels.

I couldn’t find any option in SketchTooltipOptions to customize or override these axis labels. It would be very helpful if the API allowed developers to:

  • Customize the axis labels (e.g., X/Y, Lon/Lat, Easting/Northing)

  • Optionally control label order

This would greatly improve usability in non-GIS-focused applications where users interpret X/T as incorrect or meaningless.

Is this something already planned, or is there a recommended workaround for overriding the tooltip content?

Best regards,

Kinga
