Another Public Notification App Instant App issue: Searching for a parcel selects a random number of adjacent parcels for some reason

Hi All,

I've noticed when you use the search bar to find a parcel it selects a random number of adjacent parcels to the one you're searching for. The search is configured for exact match on the parcel ID and no search distance is active so I am not sure why it is doing this. Sometimes it doesn't even select all the adjacent parcels, just a few. 

To make things weirder, if you then apply a buffer distance it will just buffer off just the desired parcel and not any of the adjacent ones selected. This will confuse users to no end.

Any one else seen anything like this?

Hi Jessica,

To confirm, you have a configured your search source as the parcel layer and then in the published app, when you search for a specific parcel it won't return any results, only surrounding parcels are returned?

If so, can you confirm the layer type and field type. I will go ahead and look at it on our end and see if I see anything similar.

This should be addressed in the November 2024 release.
