I was introduced to insights at the User Conference last week. I am finding it a handy tool to make tables for a report we're publishing in GIS Storymap. I was told at UC that I could easily embed insight tables in Storymaps. But when I embed my report in storymap, only a static card with the link appears. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi @RylandLu ,
Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with the embed. If you're able to share a screenshot without any sensitive information of the content you're trying to embed and how it appears in StoryMaps that would be helpful.
Let me also describe the steps I followed to embed a summary table in Insights into StoryMaps.
1. Create a summary or reference table using your data
2. Using the Publish button in the top right corner, share your report to your organization (or publicly if your data is public)
3. The Share dialog will update once the share succeeds, you can copy the embed code for StoryMaps:
4. Open the Storymaps app (on the same organization) > in Add content block, select Embed and paste the code from step 3
5. You should see the Insights report display with the interactive table, the size can be adjusted based on your needs:

Thanks Maitreyi!
I believe we met at the demo booth at UC. I can send a screenshot shortly.
Best,

I got it to embed properly thanks to the primer on custom versus default sizing Jennifer shared. Thanks again for all your help!
Perfect! So glad that got it working 🙂 And thank you for posting your question on the community!
