Ok, am I crazy or does it feel like Ortho Maker has been forgotten about by ESRI? I am having serious issues with it when trying to apply GCPs to a project. I went to My ESRI to open a ticket and there isn't a category for Ortho Maker or even Image Server on there. I opened one under ArcGIS Portal but still, it seems odd.

What is the issue you are having? If you want to open a ticket for it, please use the following:

Product: Portal for ArcGIS
Issue Category: Web GIS and Services
Issue Subcategory: Other services

It's a pile of issues.

I figured out one of them. If you have multiple raster stores registered with Image Server, Ortho Maker fails to write some files, but if you unregister the others and use the one it was using before, it works.

The Ortho/Blocks are not producing accurate products using Surveyed GCPs. The images are 10+ feet off even using GCPs. This product is a giant mess, and I am sure it's because it isn't a SAaS so ESRI doesn't care about it.

Thanks for the info.

I would like to look into these issues. What version of enterprise are you using? I also need some details on your server and rasterstore configuration. Do you use separate servers for image hosting and raster analytics?  Are your raster stores all fileshare, or do you use a combination of fileshare and cloud store?  A screenshot of the Datastore page would be helpful for understanding your current configuration.

Also, please provide sample data, if possible, so I can look into the adjustment using GCPs issue. You can send to nadebisi@esri.com.

Enterprise 11.3. The Image Hosting and Raster Analysis roles are both assigned to 1 server.

Currently the only Raster Store is File Share a type, but I had previously had a Database Store type as well. Unregstering the Database one fixed the Ortho Maker crash, even though Ortho Maker appeared to only be using the File Share type store.

The data is large, and probably can't be sent by email.

I tested block adjustments with GCPs in orthomaker using different datasets, but I didn't observe any significant offsets in the products. I might set up a cloud solution for you to upload subset of your data for further testing. Rest assured, any proprietary data will remain confidential. In the meantime, please send me the adjustment report for your project to better understand the issue.
Thanks
