I want to be able to edit and update my data using ms access, and then somehow click a button or two and update a geodatabase for making maps and querying in ArcGIS, which is problematic as we sit now, due to the lack of an Oject-ID field in my access database.  If I can figure out how to link to a geodatabase table in access, I can update the geodatabase with a simple query.

Take a look at this blog post from Bruce Harold‌: https://community.esri.com/community/arcgis-data-interoperability/blog/2019/09/26/using-odbc-data-so...

BTW, the personal geodatabse that was once available has gone the way of the dodo, for better or for worse.

That should just about do it....

For a no-code option Data Interoperability will do the job as a geoprocessing tool.
