ArcGIS Hub Content Library not showing in View Mode

I am building a Hub site, and I am not able to see any of the content I have added when I click "View." The content is shared with the site content group on AGOL, and I see all the content when I go to the content library in edit mode - but then none of the data/maps show up when I switch to view mode and search data. The data is all shared publicly, but I'm still logged in anyways. Is there a step I'm missing? The only "data" I see when in view mode are the pages I created in Hub.
