Discussion boards are easy to configure and maintain items in Hub that you can use to collect stakeholder inputs, feedback or ideas on topics that matter most to you. Be it brainstorming ideas for improving public safety in your city or identifying the location for a new park, Hub Premium customers can now configure a discussion board to have two-way conversation with their community members.
Setting your 'area of interest'
Discussion boards are geography forward. This means, in addition to setting goals, you can specify ‘area of interest’ while configuring a board. This ensures that all comments posted to the board are restricted to the specified area.
Note: More than one area-of-interest can be defined for a board.

Defining participation and moderation rules
You can define participation (and moderation) rules for a board through channels. Channels define who can create, read, and moderate posts. You can have a channel that’s public (which would allow public to participate on your board) or private (which will limit participation to specific groups).
Define participation and moderation rules using channels
Participating on a bard is easy and intuitive! Participants can post comments, add location(s), reply to other’s comments or add reactions to show support. Additionally, participants with an identity can participate anonymously, if desired.

Moderating a discussion board
Discussion boards are equipped with moderation tools to enable psychological safety and ensure conversations are constructive and inclusive. Moderators, who are auto assigned based on your channel set up, can hide sensitive comments and set up-to blocked words.
Note: Org admins are auto assigned as moderators for all discussion boards.
Setting blocked words will automatically hide comments containing them
