Within ArcGIS Hub, we’ve streamlined the Gallery card by consolidating it with the Events card. Moving forward, both will now live under a single component: the Gallery card.
Quick Summary: Your site visitors will experience no visible changes when viewing a Gallery card. Everything should look and function the same — but behind the scenes, we’ve made some meaningful improvements to simplify and extend card management.
What’s New
Unified gallery card
- The Events card has been merged with the Gallery card for a smoother creation and editing experience.
- All the familiar features and functionality remain available, now under one simplified “Gallery” option.
- We are planning to consolidate the people and groups cards in a similar manner at a future date. Stay tuned!
No more max display limit
- The Gallery card is no longer capped at displaying 16 results.
- If no limit is configured, then results will display as a paginated list of 10 results at a time.
- If you'd like to display all results at once, then simply configure a display limit (maximum of 100).

Enhanced search and filtering
- You now have access to expanded and dynamic filtering with additional filter options that each have more selection options available.

- These enhancements give you more granular control over the content that appears in your Gallery card.
- Manual selection will migrate as you currently have it set up and now easily allows up to 100 cards.

Why this matters
This update keeps your Hub sites and pages looking and functioning the same on the surface but makes card management simpler, faster, and more scalable behind the scenes. You’ll spend less time managing card types and more time showcasing your content.
