We are trying to connect ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 to ACC. We have followed the steps up until -

Authorize the APS application for the Autodesk Construction Cloud account. Step 1 says to follow the steps in Scenario 1. However this talks about BIM360. For this porject we are using ACC and not BIM360.

We are continually getting this error

Jamie_Till_0-1727314172884.png

when trying to create an account, we have checked the callback URL etc, and have checked whitelists between servers etc.

Do we have to do the steps for Scenario 1 when we are using ACC and not BIM360, the instructions aren't very clear, we have setup everything in APS but maybe missing the part where we link projects?

Any help greatly appreciated

@Jamie_Till There is no difference in the setup between ACC and BIM360. Thank you for pointing out the confusion in our documentation, I will have that addressed.

Can you confirm the second tab where you are asked to log in to your Autodesk account is closing after clicking "Allow"? If that is closing, the callback url configuration is working correctly.

Based on the information provided makes me suspect the helper service url is not configured properly and/or the GeoBIMAuth service is not published.

Can you confirm both geoprocessing services have been publish and their rest endpoints are in the GeoBIM helper service url in the format of {"url":"<url for GeoBIM service>","authUrl":"<url for GeoBIMAuth service>"}

The end of the service url should look something like rest/services/GeoBIM/GPServer. If the services are in a folder other than the root folder, the folder name would be in the url as well. You should also be able to open those urls from the client computer where you are running ArcGIS GeoBIM.

Hi @ACheuvront ,

I'm going through the same scenario. I contacted technical support and they informed me that there is a problem with the portal URL, which contains the "portal" string on URL. I changed de context url to arcgis and I continue with the same problem. Any suggest to work?

Best

Hi @EdnaKanazawa,

The "portal" string in the url is only and issue with the organization name in ArcGIS Online. This issue is being fixed in the next release (November 12th). If you are configuring an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, this would not be the cause of any problem that I know of.

I would need some additional background information to know what the problem might be.

  • What version of ArcGIS Enterprise are you using?
  • What is the architecture configuration of your ArcGIS Enterprise deployment.
  • What is the url to your ArcGIS GeoBIM application?
  • What is the callback url configured in your APS application
  • What is the specific error you are seeing? Any information about the steps taken to reach the error would be helpful as well.
  • Does the client id in the autodesk.json file match the client id in the APS application? Has the Portal for ArcGIS service on the portal machine been restarted after updating the client id?

You can contact me directly if you don't want to post this information here.

Hi @EdnaKanazawa

The link you posted to your geobim app is showing an extra"/" character on the portal sign in page.

I'm not sure if this is directly related. It would be part of the Enterprise configuration but I'm not versed well enough in the Enterprise configuration to be sure how that happened.

Other than that, I don't see anything in the GeoBIM configuration that looks incorrect. There could be a network or Enterprise configuration causing a problem.

  • Is the site self hosted or on a cloud server like AWS?
  • Is this a single machine deployment or multiple servers?

In the GeoBIM page after clicking "Allow", is there an error in the browser developer tools?
