Unable to save the configuration

I'm using Esri Maps with Dynamics CRM 2013 (SP1) on premise.

When I try to "Save and publish" the configuration (e.g the connection URL) I get the following error message:

"Unable to save the configuration. Please try again."

Another problem concerns the login credentials to ArcGIS Online. If I connect to ArcGIS Online via the Esri Maps Settings the connection is not persistent. It's getting lost if I switch to "Create new map" or "Create new locate workflow" and the following message appears:


Not signed in to Esri Maps

(Tip: Go to Esri Maps area > Settings)


Maybe the above problems relate to each other.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone else has the same problem. According to the Esri Inc. support both Dynamics CRM as well as the Esri Maps solution (i.e. the connection url) has to be used via http and not https.
