Can I change the symbology of a reference layer from ArcGIS Online?

Dear Forum,

Can I change the symbology of a reference layer I have added from ArcGIS Online from within PowerBI?

I have read this in the documentation that says I cannot: "The image on the left shows layer options available for layers created using Power BI data. The image on the right shows layer options for a reference layer added from ArcGIS."

I (and my users) can do this in ArcGIS for Excel and ArcGIS for Sharepoint, but can't in PowerBI which seems to me to be odd as they are all MS apps.

Is this functionality available in PowerBI and I'm doing something wrong? If it isn't there, is it planned in the future?

Hi, this functionality is not available in Power BI. The symbology of reference layers are set in ArcGIS Online/Enterprise and cannot be adjusted in Power BI.

Unfortunately, I do not have any insight into the roadmap of ArcGIS for Power BI, so I do not know if it is planned for the future.
