Option to disable data layer tooltips when hovering

I've seen other ideas asking for the ability to remove Lat/Long from tooltips, format tooltips, etc. when mapping with Power BI data layers, but I'd also like to see the ability to turn off tooltips when the cursor hovers over a feature. In other words, I only want to see tooltips (i.e. what Esri calls pop-ups in all other applications) when a feature is clicked.

Thanks for your feedback and idea. We are currently working on enhancing Tooltips and Popups. Options will be provided to configure Power BI tooltips and ArcGIS popups. Thanks for your patience.

Is there an estimated implementation date for this update?  The Popups from hovering are distracting while exploring the map.
