Hi,

I‘m AutoCad 2024 and just started testing this ArcGIS plugin.

I have defined a project area, and I can see its outline on the screen. However, GIS data is showing outside this area, basically as I zoom out, content is shown.

How can I fix this so GIS content is only shown within the defined project area?

Many thanks!

Update:
It seems only the layers listed under 'web features' (sourced from the ArcGIS online) are shown only within the project area, and they are true AutoCAD objects/polylines.

The data from our organisation is displayed in an 'infinite' way.

Hello,

Thanks for trying ArcGIS for AutoCAD! I think providing screen captures would always help with these questions but what I think you are describing is the Esri Contents and the different layer types. ArcGIS for AutoCAD separates Web Feature Layers, Map/Image Layers and Document Feature Layers.

As you have discovered the Project Area will only affect the Web Feature Layers while Map/Image Layers are added as the entire layer and Document Feature layers are entities that are in the local drawing.

I hope this helps!
