Hi there,

One of my users is having this message when capturing a linear feature in ArcGIS Field Maps:

'Unable to Submit - Attempt to invoke interface method ‘java.lang.Objectjava.util.Map$Entry.getKey()’ on a null object reference' - any ideas?

Thanks!

Joe

I have seen this issue resolved by changing the basemap to the World Imagery basemap. What basemap is being used when the message occurs? My recommendation is to use only the authoritative basemap to avoid the error. Refer to this link: https://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=3a890be7a4b046c7840dc4a0446c5b31&view=list&focus=layers#co...

Additionally, ensure the basemap being used is not deprecated BaseMapSuggestions.png

We are getting this error too. We have been getting this error for over a year with no solution or insight as to what is causing this. Anyone else have had ESRI look into this error?
