Layer Filter by Date in Field Maps

Hi,

I want to allow my Field Maps mobile users to filter features they create by date. Currently, features are added in overlapping areas so being able to see which features were added on what days would be extremely useful. I see the option to add a "Layer Filter" in the App Settings section of Field Maps Designer, but the Date field is not an option there. 

Am I missing something? Is there some other setting that I need to enable? In my opinion, being able to filter by date is a pretty standard feature but does Field Maps just not have that functionality yet? And if it doesn't, are there other options to achieve this goal?

Looks like it's still not available in AGOL.  Hopefully it'll be part of their summer upgrade.

This would be great functionality to be added and seems like a fairly common ask. Currently we treat date as text so people can at least select one date to filter but always get the following ask seconds later, "can I filter by a date range".  Seems such a simple thing, would love to be able to say "yes, field maps done that natively".

Good news!  I attended the ERGIS conference last week and this functionality is coming in a "future release"  It wasn't marked as "near term" so I'm guessing it's not part of the summer release, but maybe fall or winter.
