attribute expressions not honoured in Field Maps app

I've created 2 Arcade expression inside of a pop-up that I have configured for use with the Field Maps App. The expressions convert Workforce Guid fields to plain text values. The expression executes as expected in Map View but they do not work in the Field Maps App. Why aren't my expressions honoured in the app?
