Antenna height displayed in Field Maps when not activated in Mobile Manager

With the updated Trimble workflow in the 2025.2 update, Field Maps displays the antenna height regardless of whether or not the "apply antenna height" toggle switch is activated in Mobile Manager. This gives field staff a false confidence that antenna height is being applied to elevation values when it is not. We have had several cases of 2-meter antenna height displayed in Field Maps, but the antenna correction was actually turned off in Mobile Manager.

Is there any way to ensure Field Maps only displays the antenna height if Mobile Manager is actually applying the antenna correction? I know people should be verifying it in TMM, but sometimes that doesn't happen.

We're using Catalyst DA2s on iOS.

Hi @jmaxwell_braun thanks for the feedback.  You are correct, we're always displaying the antenna height in Field Maps, regardless of whether the antenna height is applied. We'll look to improve this in a future Field Maps update.

As an aside, can you share some details on why you might have an antenna height set but not want to apply it?

Thanks @DougMorgenthaler. There is no reason we would want to set an antenna height but not apply it. The issue is if the antenna height adjustment gets turned off in TMM for some reason, Field Maps still reports the number in the antenna height field from TMM even though it isn't active.

Until the 25.2 update we had been telling users to adjust antenna height in Field Maps. So they look at it in Field Maps, and if they see the right antenna height they think it's good.
