Is anyone else experiencing Trimble Mobile Manager issues when trying to connect an external GPS to Field maps? Field Maps 25.2.0 removed all previous connections to external recievers. Connection attempts lead to endless looping from Field Maps to Trimble Mobile Manager.
Field Maps 25.2.0 update has created huge disruptions across our organization.
Hi @NorthVanForester , what devices are you using (phone, trimble receiver models)? Also, what version of Trimble Mobile Manager is install? Ensure you have the latest version of that as well. Thanks!

We are using iPad mini 5's or newer with Trimble R2s. We are using TMM 2025.20.221.

This is the opposite of the old instructions provided by Esri. Documentation on the Esri site seems to now be updated to reflect the change in workflow.

Yes this is the updated workflow for the new version of Field Maps 25.2 as the underlying architecture has changed as it relates to connecting to Trimble receivers. This is why existing Providers needed to be cleared. Are you still having issues with an endless loop when connecting? Have you already tried removing and re-adding in both Field Maps and TMM?
