I created layers for different assets, fire hydrants, manholes, light standards, waterlines, storm lines and sanitary lines in ArcGIS 10.1. When I bring the layers into ArcGIS Explorer the symbology matches ArcMap however the symbols and lines look very pixelated. The line work is very thin, jagged and hard to see against the basemap and the symbols almost look like they have a pixel wide halo around them. Has anyone encountered this and is there a way to get my explorer map layers to look the way they do in ArcMap?
