Is it possible to open a section view after record selection change?  It appeas that one can open a sidebar but not navigate to section view.  @Jianxia  if this functionality is currently not offered, would it be possible to incorperate in a future build?

@HeathAnderson Thank you for bringing up this idea! Currently, this feature is not planned as we have not seen many people demanding similar requests. I have put it in our backlog and please feel free to post an idea or submit a ticket via Esri Support.

A quick update - "Open view" action is supported in the recent AGOL online June release. The Section widget provides it and can be triggered by record selection changes.

I'm not sure that's what @HeathAnderson was asking for. It's also not what is being asked for in this post from 2021 or this post from 2024. The desired workflow is straightforward:

  1. Within the map widget allow 'connect to data'
  2. Specifiy the selected feature
  3. Set Link to open a page, view, window etc...

End result is user selects a feature on the map and the page, view or window opens. It's stunning that the worlds leading mapping software company doesn't allow the user to interact with the map in this way...
