Mobile worker cannot edit with Edit widget in Experience Builder

Hello, I have a problem with the edit widget in Experience Builder (in ArcGIS Online). Our Mobile workers cannot edit using the edit widget, but other user types with more privilidges can e.g. Creator. The Mobile worker is able to edit the same data layers inFieldMaps. In the underlying webmap the 'enable editing' is selected on the layers.

The layers are within a group layer, they are from a feature service published from a standalone ArcGIS server, they are not hosted feature layers.

Could there be a setting in the edit widget that I have missed to give edit privileges to user types?

Thanks for any advice!

Hey @HCC2021

To my knowledge, Experience Builder is not included in the Mobile Worker license as something that can be edited or utilized to edit. The Mobile Worker license is almost exclusively used to edit and manipulate field data like Field Maps, Navigator, etc. In order to use experience builder, you may need to provision these users with creator licenses.

Hello, Thanks for the quick reply, My understanding from the user-type matrix https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/experience-builder-widgets-and-use... is that mobile workers can view and edit data in Experience Builder. Perhaps I have misunderstood, or it has been updated? Thanks again

Hey @HCC2021

I'm seeing what you're seeing how it states that Mobile Workers "Can view and edit data, but can't create or modify apps and items" from my experience, I've never been able to actually get the editing to work on Experience Builder with the Mobile Worker licenses, I'm not confident that it's impossible now that I'm seeing this, but I'll do some testing and see what I can find!
