Map no longer zooms and pans to a point when selected/clicked on the map

Hi there,

I might be completely losing my mind, but did the most recent update change the message actions available on the Map widget?

I could have sworn that there was an ability to have the map zoom into a point feature when it is selected/clicked on by a user. For example, if I had a map of the US with points representing shopping centers, if a user clicked on a point, it would zoom into that feature. However, for the life of me, I can't find this option in the Map widget settings or actions. I'm sure I'm missing it and it's in front of my face, but would appreciate any pointers. Thanks!

Hi @DaveL,

This update does not change the map's message action. 

Only a Map widget was added. To zoom in after selecting a point, there are two methods:

1) Use the zoom tool in the Popup;

2) Enable "Zoom to selected features," and refresh the app at runtime to zoom in.

Thanks for the quick reply... I must've been mistaken on the previous functionality of the map widget. 

That said... it does seem odd that you can set a message action in many other widgets where the record selection changes, it zooms into the feature, but not in the map widget itself.

The 'Zoom to' action is also available in other widget Action configurations, such as Filter, Table and Search.
