Linking swipe widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder to a feature info widget

I wonder if it is possible to connect a feature info widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder to the Swipe widget.  So the Feature info widget would display the name of the map currently displayed with the swipe widget, and this would change when the swipe widget is dragged either left or right. Or would there be another widget which would display this information?

Could you provide more details about your use case? Typically, the Feature Info widget displays feature-level information, while the Swipe widget is used to compare layers or maps. It seems these functionalities cannot be connected in the scenario you described.

You just want the map title? You may be able to hack this by adding a Sketch layer to your webmaps and adding your map titles as text.

Thanks for this, but I wonder whether this workaround would work independent of the zoom/zoom out functions, or if the map is swiped to a different area - ie the text isn't fixed to any location?

There could also be a way to hack a Sidebar Widget into becoming a swipe tool. Then you could use regular Text Widgets as your map labels. (I'm currently out on leave, so I am not testing this out.)

  1. Make two copies of your webmap with the desired layers for both sides.
  2. Use the Map Actions to keep the extents of both maps in sync.
  3. Add a Sidebar Widget and place one map on each side.
  4. Make sure the Overlay and Resizable options on the Sidebar are turned on. Make the separator thicker and more visible and turn off the collapse button.
