Hello GIS friends!

Do any of you know if and when (there are disappointing road maps) Esri will have a Geoprocessing widget in Experience Builder before they phase out Web AppBuilder, next year? It is utterly important for us to have the Geoprocessing widget because we have custom web tools in our Web AppBuilder that we must have in order to migrate to Experience Builder. Without a Geoprocessing widget I do not see us upgrading to the next version of Enterprise platform.

Thank you for your attention.
Abi

You can keep an eye on status here. Looks like as of May the Geoprocessing is listed as "Planned".

Hi,

The Geoprocessing widget in ExB is coming soon. It should be available in next few release (Online).

Thanks,

Wei

@AbiDhakal , yes, the Geoprocessing widget for ExB in Enterprise should be available soon in the coming release as well.

@WeiYing1 ExB was released in July of 2023, which was the "coming release" relative to your comment.

Does Esri have an actual release date planned? This is necessary functionality and its reason enough to keep using the legacy WAB and forgoing migration altogether.

Hi @AValenski , ArcGIS Online edition has just release new version in Octomber 2023.
Enterprise edition will have the Analysis widget (gp capbility) in 11.3 next year.

I agree with @AValenski. The software development process that ESRI follows is very frustrating. It would be if Microsoft decided to release a new version of Windows but left out file explorer. It needs to contain the functionality of the existing platform it is intended to replace.
