Hello!
My organization upgraded ArcGIS Enterprise from 11.3 to 11.5, and I am the Enterprise administrator.
Within Experience Builder (ExB), a lot of widgets (Select, Table, etc.) allow to export data as csv file, and the export options are configured on the "Data pannel" of ExB. So far so good.
From 11.5 Enterprise's version, I encountered problems with the export button (e.g., export to csv) within ExB widgets (Select, Table, etc.). In detail, using ExB app, web map and web services (e.g., map image layer) with a member that is not the owner, the export button on ExB only appear if particular Member rules are configured. I tried two different member with different Member rules, one without "Administrative privileges" flags, and another with some “Administrative privileges" flagged. Member with "Administrative privileges" has the button to download data on ExB, while member without "Administrative privileges" not! When at least one "Administrative privileges" of Member rule is flagged, export button appear on ExB widget, otherwise no button appear. Furthermore, the export button always appear for member who owns the ExB, web map and map image service. Attached configuration of Member Rules and export button behavior on ExB widget.
This happen on two different Enterprise systems. On the previous version of Enterprise the export button was not dependent on the Member Rules.
Here my question: is this behavior normal? is there the possibility to enable the export button for member without "Administrative privileges" in Member rules? It is quite strange, because only Creator user type can use the export button on ExB.
Thank you for your support

Hi @AldoBertone ,
Have you enabled the "Allow others to export to different formats" option in the item settings?
Support issue BUG-000174694 has been fixed in Enterprise 11.5, so Experience Builder will now follow the item export settings.

Shengdi
Hi,
I'm encountering a similar issue to Aldo. I'm hosting Map Images on ArcGIS Enterprise that are being used in ArcGIS Online Maps. However, These ArcGIS Online maps no longer allow anyone but administrators to export the data. I tried to find the "Allow others to export to different formats" toggle, but it was only available on "Features Layers (hosted)" and not under "Map Images". However, exporting always worked before the most recent ArcGIS Online update even with Map Images.
We have an old WAB map hosted on Enterprise that still seems to function fine with exporting, but on ArcGIS online EXB it suddenly disappeared as an option for everyone but me (the administrator).
@sjrmc Could you share a sample URL? We only check the "Allow others to export to different formats" option for hosted layers, so we'd like to check the URL to understand why it's enabled for a map image layer.
@YueyangLi , there is no setting under the map images that says "Allow others to export to different formats" so I don't think it's necessarily enabled. We were just able to do it automatically before so long as the EXB app was set up to allow for exports.
Not sure what I could provide as a sample URL since all of our enterprise files are hosted internally and not accessible outside of our organization's network.
Hi @AldoBertone and @sjrmc,
The following bug was recently logged for similar behavior with secured Enterprise services:
If you would like to follow along with the progress of the bug, please reach out to Esri Technical Support and request that your case be attached to this bug.
Thank you,
Katie
We are having this issue as well with non secured services, Enterprise 10.9.1
Hi @BrittanyBurson,
Thank you for reporting. Are you using a map service to export. We also recently logged a bug for this:
Please let us know if you are seeing this behavior otherwise.
Thank you,
Katie
Hi @KathrynWalker thanks for the reply. Yes, map services. I was just notified that our case was attached to the same bug you just mentioned, looking forward to tracking the progress.
