In Experience Builder, we have found that when a feature is updated and those updates cause the feature to no longer be visible in the View layer being edited, it then brings up the "Discard the edits?" confirmation box. This is despite the updates having been applied. It then doesn't matter whether you select "Discard edits" or "Continue editing", the feature is gone and the Edit widget is cleared.
Example in action - note that after hitting "Update", the shape doesn't disappear off the screen until the layer refreshes (takes a minute or two).
A similar issue has been addressed recently. Let me know if you still can observe it. Also, a sample app would be very helpful if possible.
Happy to share a sample app - can you provide a username/s and I can add to a group?
I've sent them to you via Direct Message. Thank you!
We have also been seeing this behavior, albeit in a slightly different context. Our users are updating related records on point features, clicking "Update", then when they perform a search on a different parent point feature they are given that warning even when there is nothing to save. I have disabled any arcade calculated values in the web form, but it is still giving the warning.
@LindsayRaabe_FPCWA did you ever get more info/resolution for this issue? We've noticed this in some of our applications on moving to Dev Edition 1.18 working in Enterprise 11.5. Hitting 'continue editing' and then closing the edit widget seems to apply the edits just fine but the warning is scaring my users!
Hey @ZachBodenner I just checked and the problem seems to have been resolved (ArcGIS Online - don't have Enterprise).
