I have been searching the community site for a while looking for an answer to this question, but every time I see it asked there is no response from ESRI. I will go ahead and @AlixVezina , since she wrote the last article I read on the new Edit widget in ExB.

My question is, are there any plans to updated the new Edit widget in ExB to include the Copy Features functionality that the WAB version currently has? If not, will there be some combination of features or Arcade functionality to accomplish this task, or will it simply be unavailable in ExB?

Hi @AlixVezina! Thank you for the update. Does this functionality include merging multiple selected-features from a source layer to a target layer? Currently, WebAppBuilder allows users to select features (polygons in my use case) from a source layer then merges these features as they are added to a target layer.

I see in your post below that "There are no geometry transformation options."  So the merging functionality may not carry over to EB?

Thank you!

That's great news Alix! Thank you for keeping us informed, and thanks to all the ESRI staff who worked on getting this feature added!

Thank you @AlixVezina!! Can this functionality please include carrying over photos/attachments? Or the option to do so? I have submitted this idea for various platforms and I believe have some Esri cases submitted about it too.

@Tiff I am unsure what the plans are for attachment support. The best way to keep track will be via the ideas and support case you logged!

+1 this is essential functionality for ExB. Use Case: Within Experience map select feature(s) in one layer and paste (Edit - Append) into same or another layer with full control over target attributes (field map & assign default values).

Copy and Paste in now available in Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online. You can find it in the Edit widget, when using "Interact with a Map widget" Mode. The option is at the bottom of the Content panel, as part of the Advanced editing tools.
