Changing the dynamic display field in Edit widget on Experience Builder

Hi! 

I'm wondering if there is a way to change the field that is automatically chosen as the display field on the Edit Widget under "attributes only" 

More specifically, I don't want the OBJECTID field to be shown, as this number is irrelevant to staff using the tool: 

The data being referenced in the edit widget already doesn't use OBJECTID as its display field, and is not referenced in the pop-up either.

Any ideas? 

I'm using Enterprise 11.1

Hello,

Checking to see if anyone has revisited this lately. The solution above is no longer working. Any changes made to the displayfield does not transfer over to the editing widget. It continues to use the ObjectID field.

I thought it was just me! I made this update and it used to work, but in this same time period it stopped working for us.

Does anyone have additional updates on this? May need to implement, however as folks indicated the old workaround may no longer be valid.

This is working as it should. I do realize now that I was trying to display a date formatted attribute as the displayfield, which very well could be the issue why it does not work for my situation. I have tested out since, and I can verify that you can change the displayfield in the rest service definition to change what is being populated. I would recommend that if you would like to customize (Arcade) what the displayfield produces, that you do this in Pro before publishing layer.
