Attachment completely missing from Edit Widget

I have attachments enabled on a hosted feature service that was created via a survey123 and the edit widget in Experience Builder does not recognize them at all. It won't show the current attachments or allow for further attachments. For a streamlined workflow with survey123 forms in EB and then the capability to edit those entries (including images) is very important. 

The survey123 widget is flawed in that it will NOT pull up the globalid for a survey feature from a LIST which is a preferred way for many people to interact with records in a dataset, not by first selecting on a list and then zooming in the map and then clicking to select in a map. This is too many clicks to just do the simple thing - get to the edit form.

Does anyone know how I can solve this? I want to use the Edit Contact Info button on my list to be taken to either the edit widget or the survey to edit, but neither of these are working the way they should.
