I am encountering an inconvenience when using the 'Add Data' widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder. Even with a public web map and the widget configured solely for 'File' uploads, comprehensive troubleshooting indicates that activating the "Allow anonymous access to your portal" setting is required for the widget to function. This forces an undesirable security compromise. Has anyone found a solution or workaround to enable file uploads via the 'Add Data' widget without needing to activate portal-wide anonymous access? I would like to suggest to Esri that the 'Add Data' widget be modified to resolve this issue. This would enhance security for applications that utilize this widget.
