In the results area of the Near Me widget, default text is displayed which reads 'Closest Address' and then displays the location from which the search was initiated - not the closest address. The phrase 'closest address' is misleading, well actually its just wrong - it is not the closest / nearest address. The confusion created by that phrase has lead my client to remove the tool from their app.
In the simplest case, the 'Closest Address' text is hidden or re-written to correctly say something about the location being the center of the search radius. In the best case, the text is configurable.
@Trippetoe We are looking into it, thanks
Yes, this would be very helpful. The closest address feedback is not needed for my situation and takes up valuable space on phone screen.

To explain why this would be very helpful to the average end user:
I have an Experience Builder app page in which the user would enter a business name, address, or current location to have NearMe return all the handicap accessible parking spaces/garages near that location. Most users would be on a phone so I am trying to build a page that would work well on the phone with NearMe.
Example of page on my phone with a suitably sized sidecar panel that would allow the user to use NearMe and also see a decent section of the map when using and not having to close the sidebar panel. This is before the search.
But when the user runs a search (Sobys is a restaurant), the Closest parking returns aren't immediately visible to the user which leaves the user wondering what to do next. Mostly because the "Closest Address" takes up so much space. This information is useless in this case.
Because I can't get rid of the Closest Address, I have to make the sidebar panel longer so when the results are displayed, the user can easily see what they are supposed to do next. But this makes the map so much smaller.
It looks like this option was added on the February release!! Hooray.
To find it, access the Analysis Settings configuration. In the "Input" option, there is now a checkbox for "Input Location label". Input Location references the same item we had been referring to as "Closest Address".
Thank you!!
I'm not seeing that option.
Hi @JaredPilbeam2 ,
Are you using developer edition? We added this option in February update. If you are using Developer Edition , you need to download the latest version to see this option. We have added Input and Result sections and it will be under Input section as the screenshot shared by ctalleygreenville.
Hi @AzizaParveen1 ,
I am. Thanks, I'll do that.
