Hello,

I have been using Experience Builder. I use the Legend widget to display map symbology, and the Layers widget for the ability to toggle layers on and off. It would be really great if these two functions could be combined into the same widget.

In other words, I want to see the layer's symbol included in the Layers widget. This concept was in the Layers widget in Web AppBuilder.

Hoping you will do something similar in Experience Builder. Thanks!

It would also be great to have the option to show check boxes instead of the eye icon to toggle layer visibility.

@AustinCanty1

Yes! Totally agree.

Seems like this keeps coming up - would really love to see some progress on this. Makes absolutely no sense needing to make space for the layer visibility and legend widgets especially when users are expecting them to be combined.

Agreed! If you wanted to show only the layer list because of space availability, you could eliminate the legend altogether.

It would also be nice to be able to move the "default" tools anywhere on the page, even docking them in a widget controller with other tools you want to add. Currently, you only have 3 fixed options and sizes.

Yes, this.

Agree strongly.  I think this has been raised many times.  We'd love to see this implemented.

I spoke with a member of the Experience Builder team at the Dev Summit, and they said they are shooting for this functionality in a November 2023 update. However this was just a "off the cuff" sort of predication. As we all know, tech road maps can and do change frequently.

Thanks @Gene_Sipes , fingers crossed!

Agree. Being pushed and forcing myself to switch over to EXB and then having my maps not be very useful sucks. Going back to webapp builder and waiting and recreating doesn't seem like the move either. A waste of time either way. Really wish EXB was getting more attention right now.
