Draw widget improvements

It would be nice if there was an option to change units on the Tooltips of the Draw widget.  I work with cadastral data in the US and feet is the preferred unit.  If I try and change the coordinate system, inaccuracies in the measurements/labels occurs.  Please make it so we can choose which unit is desired.  Here is a simple example of the problems encountered when using a different coordinate system that uses feet as the unit:

Same thing happens with linear measurements.
