URL Parameters, such as seen here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/build-apps/url-parameters.htm

Are a quick way to customize the Experience Builder.

One is missing however:  TOKEN

there is no way to pass a token to the Experience Builder - this is standard in all the components for ArcGIS Enterprise (maps, quick apps, AppBuilder, etc)

Hi @Jianxia

Can you please provide an update to this question? This is a major regression from Web AppBuilder, and is hindering the successful migration to Experience Builder from Web App Builder in many cases. For example: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/url-parameter-token/td-p/1052306

Thanks,

Marc

This is definitely a much-needed feature, and I’m excited to see it introduced soon.

Best regards

In a application embedding an ExB application which cannot be public, authenticating the ExB app with an Url-param with token is a mandatory feature. If this feature is not migrated from the Web Appbuilder application, this is a major showstopper for using an ExB-app as a replacement for a Web Appbuilder app!

I agree that this should have a way higher priority at ESRI so that users can migrate existing apps before WebApp Builder reaches EOL

Definitely needed asap and agree that this is a major deficiency in the migration to EB plan on ESRI's behalf.

Thank you all for the input. The URL parameter based token will not be supported in Experience Builder due to security concerns. In fact, this capability has been removed from Web AppBuilder for many years.
