ArcGIS Excalibur is a focused web-based imagery analysis application for working with imagery, video, and maps. It offers a simplified search and discovery experience, making it easy to publish and access imagery. You can create mark ups and measurements, count objects, detect changes, and apply image enhancements with built-in analysis tools and ready-to-use workflows, all in one place. Share your results as reports or dashboards with others to support informed decision-making.

Previously only offered within ArcGIS Enterprise, we are happy to announce that ArcGIS Excalibur is now available as a beta in ArcGIS Online, with a full public release planned in the upcoming months!

ArcGIS Excalibur 3.1 is now live and it furthered an already strong functional foundation for working with Imagery and Video.  There is an enhanced collaboration experience focused around projects allowing for the inclusion of supporting materials and related information.  Publishing continues to increase in requested functionality to support livestream video.  This extends the supported video data types through ArcGIS Video Server that can be published into the ArcGIS System of record to be utilized in downstream analysis.

This release added support for a datatype integration with ArcGIS Knowledge. This expands on the already rich ecosystem of supported layer types within the application.  You can find all the details for the release in this blog which outlines new features for 3.1.

ArcGIS Excalibur has many capabilities for exploiting imagery to identify key activity. In Excalibur, these observation-based workflows are seamlessly integrated and easily accessible. So how do you start the process? One of the ways you can start is by opening an imagery project, a dynamic way to organize resources to complete your image-based task.
